The night before a long trip!

 Tomorrow very early I embark on a great journey.  

Physically, I will cover a forecasted 1,600 miles in the next 2 weeks.  Emotionally, I will be going back to the place I first saw the ocean when I was 16 years old.  My foster family took me to the California coast over the 4th of July weekend where we camped out at Acadia, Ca.  I haven't been back there since.  Mentally, I plan to try and focus my thoughts and be 'in the moment'.  No Facebook or Instagram or WhatsApp or emails or distractions.  

I will be completing this journey with my good friend Crystal.  It was her idea to road trip to see 'The black sand beaches of California'.   Here's our journey map: https://trips.furkot.com/ts/9tOUMH 

Here I plan to share my day's journey with notes, pictures, sights seen and perhaps some hopes and dreams sprinkled in.  Oh... and perhaps a glimpse of something wonderful!
